Held from 16 September to 6 December 2024, Mortgage Choice’s spring campaign saw a 14 per cent increase in the number of local leads to its broker network when compared to the prior 12-week period.
Additionally, Mortgage Choice recorded a 7 per cent increase in the number of local leads year on year and a 12 per cent increase in search for “Mortgage Choice” year on year.
The campaign was aimed at giving new and existing customers the opportunity to win one of six cash prices to put towards their mortgage by attending an appointment with their Mortgage Choice broker.
A major cash prize of $30,000 was offered along with five $5,000 state-based cash prizes.
Commenting on the campaign, Mortgage Choice CEO Anthony Waldron said: “The Mortgage Choice spring 2024 campaign was designed to support brokers to drive customer appointments, nurture and retain existing customers, and build local brand awareness.
“The campaign has delivered fantastic results thanks to brokers embracing the content our franchise marketing team created to help them promote the campaign.
“We created and provided brokers with a suite of localised marketing material to help bring the spring campaign to life, which included social media posts and stories, a targeted email series, print material and shop front signage.
“Spring is the busiest time of the year for the housing market, which is why we led with a simple campaign message aimed at incentivising customers to meet with their broker and lower the cost of their mortgage, and the results speak for themselves.”
Winners of the cash prizes were drawn on 17 December 2024, with South Australian Mortgage Choice franchisee Cathy Anderson’s customer nabbing the $30,000 cash prize.
Anderson said on the win: “The spring campaign was a great lead-generation tool for my business.
“After an extended period of the cash rate on hold, borrowers are eager to review their finances and seek options to reduce their monthly loan repayments.
“The $30,000 cash prize represents a large portion of most local borrowers’ annual home loan repayments, so I was elated that one of my customers had won – what a Christmas gift! To say that my client was thrilled would be an understatement.
“The prize will provide her with some welcome relief ahead of the festive season.”
